Welcome and thank you for your interest in WayToGo Papillons. We are a small select kennel dedicated to the breeding of Quality Papillons, producing one to two litters per year. We are professionals and our goal is to produce sound and beautiful Butterfly Dog that anyone would be proud to own.

In The Beginning
When breeding a litter careful research and the studying of pedigrees is done. The dam and sire are selected because they contribute to the excellence of the breed and compliment one another. Both meet the AKC conformation standard as well as possessing excellent temperament. Also prior to breeding, physical evaluations and PRA eye examinations by a qualified vet take place.

Raising Puppies
 Puppies are fed a diet of high quality food; Bil Jac's dry and frozen. The little ones are raised in a very busy area of the house "The Kitchen." They are constantly being picked up, played with and introduced to various stimuli. We follow the "Rule of Sevens" (see link) as a result they are well socialized and ready to meet all adventures without fear but with curiosity the outside world has to offer.

With our last litter we started litter box training. Could not believe how easy it was to accomplish!! At three weeks of age a small pan of litter is placed in the puppy pen and they do the rest. Yes accidents do happen but for the most part they hit the target. From our point of view facilitates keeping puppies clean, all the dropping are in one place. For a new owner who lives in an apartment or condo this is a wonderful asset (?)

New Buyers
 Each prospective buyer is asked to fill out a questionnaire and is interviewed at length. Every effort is made to match a puppy to a home where it will be loved and receive the best of care for its lifetime. Time is spent with each new owner educating and answering questions covering subjects such as grooming, house breaking, nutrition and crate training etc. To make sure puppies are adjusting well follow-up contacts are made. New owners are encouraged to maintain a relationship with us. They may call and ask questions at anytime, we will always be available as an information resource.

Contracts
 Yes we have sales agreements. They are intended as the security for the puppy, buyer and seller. They will address such items as co-ownerships, health guarantees, and the promise of the buyer to take good and reasonable care of said puppy or dog. Which includes but not limited to; feed and house properly, not to let him or her run loose and/or unattended at any time, give or secure the best of attentions to the physical welfare of the puppy/dog at the Buyers expense. If the buyer is unable to provide for their WayToGo Papillon, it may be returned to the seller at any time.

Stay In Touch
 After you take your Pap home we require a phone call and a picture once a year on the anniversary date of the sale. That way we are there for you and your Pap offer support and hear the joy you will have with your WayToGo Papillon. WARNING! WayToGo Paps are addictive you can’t have just one.
